Roles and Responsibilities

1. Anti-Ragging Committee

  • Establishes anti-ragging policies and ensures institutional compliance.
  • Organizes awareness and sensitization programs.
  • Reviews reports submitted by the Anti-Ragging Squad.
  • Investigates reported incidents and recommends disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinates with law enforcement when needed.
  • Submits reports to regulatory authorities (UGC, AICTE, etc.).

2. Anti-Ragging Squad

  • Conducts surprise checks in hostels, canteens, classrooms, and other areas.
  • Conducts surprise checks in hostels, canteens, classrooms, and other areas.
  • Monitors interactions between senior and junior students.
  • Immediately intervenes in suspected ragging activities.
  • Records and reports incidents to the committee.
  • Supports victims in filing formal complaints.
  • Ensures enforcement of anti-ragging rules and disciplinary protocols.
