The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital part of an institution, established to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of academic and administrative processes. As per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), every accredited institution must have an IQAC to promote a culture of quality enhancement and sustenance.

The IQAC acts as a nodal agency that integrates various institutional activities, encourages innovation, and ensures that the institution maintains high standards of teaching, learning, research, and governance. It works towards developing systematic strategies to improve the overall functioning of the institution, thereby fostering excellence and preparing for accreditation and benchmarking.

To ensure quality culture as the prime concern for the Higher Education Institutions through institutionalizing and internalizing all the initiatives taken with internal and external support.

To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for

a) Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks

b) Relevant and quality academic/ research programmes;

c) Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society

d) Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning

e) The credibility of assessment and evaluation process

f) Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services;

As the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Om Kothari Institute, I take great pride in leading our institution’s journey towards academic excellence, quality enhancement, and stakeholder engagement. The IQAC functions as a vital pillar in shaping a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of our academic and administrative ecosystem.

In alignment with our vision of being a future-ready and socially responsive institution, the IQAC has implemented a range of strategic initiatives. These include faculty development programs, curriculum reviews, infrastructure audits, research promotion, student support services, and structured feedback mechanisms. Each initiative is thoughtfully designed to drive innovation, foster inclusivity, and ensure transparency.

With a deep commitment to institutional growth and quality standards, I have been actively involved in steering these efforts through a participatory and data-driven approach. My role is not just administrative, but one of proactive leadership—encouraging collaboration, nurturing best practices, and guiding systematic quality enhancement.
