NSS & RED RIBBON CLUB

Om Kothari Institute of Management and Research, Kota is committed to developing socially responsible and compassionate citizens through its National Service Scheme (NSS) and Red Ribbon Club (RRC).

The NSS, functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, has been active in the college since 2018. The college has one NSS unit with 100 student volunteers. NSS aims to develop social responsibility, leadership, discipline, teamwork and a spirit of community service through activities such as cleanliness drives, plantation, health camps, blood donation, awareness campaigns and national-day celebrations.
The Red Ribbon Club, functioning under the Rajasthan AIDS Control Society, Medical & Health Services, Government of Rajasthan, has been established in the college since 2013. The college has three RRC units, focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness, blood donation, healthy lifestyles, prevention of stigma and health education.
Together, NSS and RRC provide students with valuable opportunities to serve society, spread awareness and contribute to social welfare. They transform students into responsible citizens by nurturing empathy, leadership and the spirit of volunteerism.

NSS and RRC observe important occasions such as National Youth Day, Republic Day, World Cancer Day, National Vaccination Day, World Health Day, Earth Day, World Environment Day, World Blood Donor Day, International Youth Day, National Sports Day, Gandhi Jayanti, National Unity Day, World AIDS Day, Human Rights Day, and National Voters’ Day.
Through these activities, the Institute encourages students to “Learn, Serve and Lead” and become responsible citizens committed to the health, welfare, and sustainable development of society.
Through these initiatives, Om Kothari Institute of Management and Research nurtures responsible, compassionate, and socially committed citizens. The Institute is committed to serving society, spreading awareness, supporting the underprivileged, and playing an active role in the eradication of social evils and harmful practices.
