Formation of the Cell: Comprised of at least 50% women members, formed as per the guidelines of POSH Act, 2013.
Policy and Awareness: Defines policies to prevent harassment. Organizes workshops and awareness drives. Displays helpline and complaint mechanisms in key areas.
Complaint Mechanism: Offers multiple channels to lodge complaints (written, online, anonymous), maintaining confidentiality and ensuring complainant safety.
Inquiry Process: Reviews complaints within 7 days, forms inquiry panel, and completes investigation within 90 days. Ensures unbiased hearings for both parties.
Resolution and Action: Enforces strict actions in genuine cases and fair handling of false/malicious complaints. Offers counseling and support to victims.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintains confidential records and submits annual reports to the university and legal bodies as required.
